EASY BAKED ZITI - bake and serve in our large baking dish -
Ingredients:
1 box ziti or rigatoni noodles
16 oz. ricotta or 2% cottage cheese
1 c. mozzarella cheese
2 tsp. parmesan cheese
1 tbsp. Italian seasoning
1 28 oz. jar or can of traditional pasta sauce
extra parmesan cheese for garnish
Directions:
Cook ziti according to package directions.
Put in Kovack Pottery 10" x 10" x 3" baking dish.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees (375 degrees for metal pan).
Add cheeses and Italian seasonings to pasta.
Mix well.
Pour sauce over top.
Bake in 350* oven for 45 minutes.
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese to taste.
HAPPY CRAB & SHRIMP DIP - bake and serve in our 9" baking dish -
Ingredients:
* 6 oz. shredded parmesan cheese
* 4 oz. imitation crab meat
* 1 envelope Lipton veg. soup mix
* 16 oz. light sour cream
* 250-350 count salad shrimp
Intructions:
Take 1/2 cup of shredded parmesan cheese and set aside.
Mix all ingredients in a bowl with a hand mixer.
Spread mixture into Kovack Pottery 9" baking dish, and top with 1/2 cup of reserved parmesan cheese.
Bake 325 degrees uncovered 30 min. or 'til slightly brown.
Serving Suggestion:
Serve with toasted Pita Bread (spread thin layer of butter on pita, and sprinkle with grated Parmesan before toasting!)
* 4 oz. light cream cheese
* 1 tsp. lemon juice
* 1 tsp. seasoned salt
* 1 tsp. garlic powder
* 1 dash "Accent" seasoning
CHOCOLATE CHIP BLONDIES - make, bake, and serve in our toaster-oven sized baking dish -
Ingredients:
* 1 egg
* 1 tbsp + 1 tsp veg. oil or
melted butter
* 1 tbsp + 1 tsp apple sauce
* 1/2 c brown sugar
* 1/2 tsp + 1/8 tsp baking powder
Directions:
Preheat toaster- (or conventional-) oven to 325 degrees.
In small mixing bowl beat egg then mix in oil, apple sauce, & brown sugar.
Mix in baking powder, salt, & flour.
Mix in chocolate chips.
Grease & flour a Kovack Pottery toaster-oven sized baking dish.
Scoop the batter into the dish and even out the batter.
Place 6 pecan clusters of 3 pecans each around edge.
Bake approx. 40 min. or until top is golden brown & firm.
Cool on wire rack.
While still warm, cut into 6 wedges, each with 3 pecans.
Serve and enjoy!
* 1/8 tsp salt
* 1/2 c + 3 tbsp white or whole wheat flour
* 1/2 c chocolate chips
* 18 whole pecans
NO-COOK CITRUS CRANBERRY SAUCE - serve in any of our bowls -
Delicious with turkey or chicken, on a sliced apple, or even in yogurt.
Ingredients:
* 2 c Cranberries (12 oz. bag)
* 1 Orange
* 1 Granny Smith Apple
* 3/4 cup Sugar OR frozen concentrated 100% White Grape-Peach Juice
Directions:
Pulse cranberries in food processor to a finely chopped consistency then transfer to medium bowl.
Wash one of the orange then grate or thinly slice off about 1/4 of the orange part of the rind into the food processor.
Peel the orange, discard peel, then cut the orange into pieces, place in food processor, pulse into slurry, & add to bowl.
Place washed, cored, quartered apple pieces into food processor, then pulse until all is chopped but not pureed & add to bowl.
Add sugar or concentrated juice & mix until well blended then chill (the sugar disolves on its own without heat).
Let stand for at least an hour to allow flavors to blend.
Place in a Kovack Pottery bowl and serve.
